WOW!!!!

MY GOD IS GREAT

I can't say enough about the greatness of our Lord.

Our trip was mind blowing. Everything was perfect. Our flight connections went off with out a hitch. Our transportation in Lime, Peru the same. Our accommodations were much better than we expected. We visited several cities on our trip all of which are starving for the news of Jesus Resurrection. The Catholic church has a strong grip on these people, the job will not be an easy one, but anything is possible with Christ in control. The Peruvian people were very open to us and very friendly and welcomed us with open arms. The IMB Mission team made our trip very uneventful. We did have a long trip to the valley due to traffic conditions and mud slides. It took us 16 hours to travel what would normally take 5 - 6 hours. We met a few people on the way while setting on the side of the road. Our pastor had the opportunity to share the Gospel with some locals during the trip. I believe we grew closer to each other which allowed us to be able to work together better to accomplish one goal, Spreading His word.

I have been on other mission trips in the past but not one such as this one. The mail goal of this trip was to find ways to spread the Word to the people of Peru. Other trips I have been on were to try to get us to poor our money in to a cause, but not this trip. We were constantly looking for opportunities to witness and get the communities into a bible believing church, or local bible study.

If you have the opportunity to be a part of a mission trip take it. If the trip is like the one we just returned from it will change your life and give you a stronger love for Christ and His children.

Hey Everybody

Just a note to keep everyone informed. As you know this is to keep everyone updated on our mission trip information. Let me start at the beginning, In 2003 I was called to do mission work. We have been to Albania three times and on a local trip to Pikeville, TN (which in my opinion was the best trip yet). We are scheduled to go to Peru thsi spring March 13 - 21, 2009. We are planning on doing church planting. We are planning on adopting a people group and taking 3 4 trips per year to work with that group. We feel the Lord calling us to do his work here local and across the oceans. Pease keep this trip in your prayers, and check back regularly to find out new information.

We are called to be missionaries, we are not all called to go over seas, but we are called to do something. You part may be praying, or witnessing to you co-workers. I challange you to seek the Lords direction and find you out your individual calling.
